This Privacy Policy describes how the Announce application ("App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our public address and announcement broadcasting application.
Announce is an offline, paid application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All data created or used by the App — including audio recordings, schedules, and settings — remains exclusively on your device.
If you are under the age of 13, you must have your parent or legal guardian read and agree to this Privacy Policy on your behalf before using the App.
We do not collect any personal information. There is no account registration, no sign-in, and no data transmitted to us or any third party. We have no access to your name, email address, location, or any other personal details.
The following data is created and stored locally on your device only and is never shared with us:
- Audio recordings created within the App for announcements and broadcasts
- Schedule and configuration settings for PA announcements
- App preferences and layout settings
You have full control over this data at all times and can delete it from within the App or through your device's file manager.
Our App requires access to your device's microphone to enable audio recording for announcements and broadcasting. Audio is transmitted directly to your connected PA system hardware over your local network. Audio recordings are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, access, or store any audio data on our servers.
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to use, process, or analyse. All app data (recordings, schedules, settings) is processed entirely on your device to provide the App's core PA broadcasting features. This data never leaves your device or local network.
If you contact us directly via email for support, we will only use the information you voluntarily provide in that communication to respond to your request, and it will not be shared with any third party.
We do not collect your data, and therefore we do not — and cannot — sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third party. There are no analytics providers, cloud vendors, or advertising networks involved with the App.
Since all data remains on your device, you are fully in control of what you share and with whom.
We hold no data on our end, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. All recordings, schedules, and settings are stored solely on your device and remain there for as long as you choose to keep them. You can delete any or all App data at any time through the App itself or through your device's storage settings. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored App data.
Because all App data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, your data is protected by your device's own security — including device encryption, lock screen protection, and operating system access controls. We recommend keeping your device's operating system and security settings up to date to ensure your local data remains protected.
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
